The leadership of Assuta Ashdod Public Hospital, headed by CEO Dr. Galit Kaufman, hosted Mazor’s leadership this week, including Chairman and veteran medical advisor Rabbi Shimon Rogoway, CEO Nachum Frank and the advisory team.
The working meeting focused on deepening collaboration, improving access to advanced medical services and better supporting patients who need medical advice, guidance and assistance.
During the visit, Mazor’s representatives toured the hospital, learned about its work across a wide range of specialties and received a comprehensive overview of the medical center’s rapid development. The tour included the new inpatient tower, expected to open in about two years, double the number of hospital beds and significantly expand the services available to local residents.
Mazor’s leadership then met with the Pediatrics Division, led by Dr. Yoni Yeshayahu, to learn about its work and the significant expansion of pediatric services at the hospital.
The meeting concluded with a professional discussion with hospital management and division and department heads. They presented Assuta Ashdod’s centers of excellence in orthopedics, surgery, cardiology, neuroscience, laboratory medicine and other specialties.
Representing Mazor at the meeting: Chairman and medical advisor Rabbi Shimon Rogoway; CEO Rabbi Nachum Frank; Deputy CEO Rabbi Avi Grodka; Rabbi Yechiel Disler, medical advisor in neurology; Devorah Rosner, medical advisor in ophthalmology; and Rabbi Netanel Nadler, medical advisor in gastroenterology.
Dr. Galit Kaufman, CEO of Assuta Ashdod Public Hospital:
"For us, working with Mazor is a natural connection between medical excellence and a deep commitment to patients and their families. For many years, Rabbi Shimon Rogoway and his team have devoted themselves to helping patients who need guidance, support and access to the healthcare system. I believe that direct, ongoing contact between our hospital teams and Mazor will enable us to provide more patients with timely, precise and high-quality care, introduce them to the advanced services available at the hospital and strengthen continuity of care for those who need it most.".
